Asofan Seventh Day Adventist Senior Youth Tour Cape Coast, Elimina Castles and Kakum National Park

The Seventh Day Adventist Church Senior Youth at Asofan in the Ofankor District has visited the Cape Coast, Elimina Slave Castles and the Kakum National Park to learn the history of the slave trade and experience the man made aesthetic canopy walkway. The move by the Senior Youth was an opportunity to explore, gain new knowledge and experience nature. The Senor Youth left Accra Sunday November 19, 2023 to the Cape Coast Slave Castle as the first place of the excursion. Tony Boadi, who took the Senior Youth to tour the Slave Castle said that the Cape Coast Castle was built in 1664 by Africans. Ga North MCE, Simons Sekyim and Member of Parliament, Moses Anim donate items to Traditional Authorities. The Municipal Chief Executive Ga North Municipality, Simons Sekyim has promised traditional authorities in the municipality to build Astroturf parks at Ofankor and Asofan communities. The Asofan Astroturf facility he said comes with a gym. Jomoro: 10 brilliant but needy students receive trunks and chopboxes

 Aspiring candidate Mr. Clement Akromah Forbah, 1st middle right, with parents and students as they received their trunk and chopbox A candidate and Assembly member hopeful for the Kabenla Suazo, Egbazo and Ahobre-chie electoral area, Mr Clement Akromah Forbah has donated trunks and chopboxes to 10 brilliant  but needy students who have gained admission to Senior High School (SHS). The presentation happened Sunday December 3, 2023 at Egbazo Community Center in the Jomoro District, Western Region. The donation was to empower the students to double up their performance in their academic journey. Hon. The event that happened Friday December 1st, 2023 was dubbed “Delivering Smart Solutions for Sustainable Food Security and Resilience”. The theme is a support of the United Nations Sustainable Goals 2, which seeks to achieve food security and improve nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture whilst the goal 13, also states the call for urgent action to tackle climate change and its effects.  The Paris Agreement is to limit global temperature rise to well below two degrees Celsius.
