Achiato: Health Center to begin work January 2022



Director of the Ga North District Hospital, Ofankor, Dr. Nhyira Easel has disclosed to IG-TECH MEDIA NETWORK December 31, 2021 that the Achiato Reproductive Health Center will begin work January, 2022.

"Currently where we're, we are starting with VC and Family Planning", she said.

Dr Essel made this known in an interview with her when IG-TECH MEDIA NETWORK tried to find out why the health facility that was commissioned, December 3, 2020 is still not in use.

The Achiato Reproductive Health Center has been to a standstill due to lack of fund that the Assembly has not been able to provide to purchase the needed items to run the hospital.

According to Dr. Essel, Ghc 20,000 will complete everything, both chippings to fill the compound and the remaining items.

Dr Nhyira Essel also added that though other donors have supported in buying some of the items but if the requested amount is released or achieved, the hospital can run fully.
